Right of withdrawal
This document is available in Polish and English. For consumers in Poland the Polish version is binding; this English version is a translation.
If you are a consumer (including a sole trader treated as a consumer, see the Terms of Service, section 2), you can withdraw from a Plus purchase made online. This follows from the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 and EU law.
1. How long you have
You have 14 days from the day you bought Plus (made the contract). You do not have to give a reason. It is enough to send us your withdrawal statement before the 14 days are up.
2. How to withdraw
Send us a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the contract:
- by e-mail to maksymilian.wojcik@gmail.com, or
- by post to TheClassyCode Maksymilian Wojcik, Swarożyca 15A/6, 71-601 Szczecin, Poland.
You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. It helps if you give the e-mail address of your VetDue account, the date of purchase and where you bought (website, Google Play, App Store). We will confirm receipt by e-mail.
3. Purchases on the website vetdue.com
We sell Plus on the website ourselves, so we make the refund. We refund the full price you paid within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method you used (through Stripe), unless you expressly agree to another. You pay no fees for the refund.
Plus starts as soon as you buy it. We charge nothing for the days you used it before withdrawing, and we do not ask you to agree to lose the right of withdrawal. We switch Plus off when we process the withdrawal. This applies to every kind of Plus: monthly, yearly and forever.
4. Purchases on Google Play or the App Store
When you buy in the app, the store takes the payment and the store makes refunds. Your statutory right of withdrawal applies in the same way; the store makes refunds under its own rules:
- Google Play: you can ask for a refund on Google Play (play.google.com → Order history → Request a refund), or send your statement to us - we will then issue the refund through Google Play.
- App Store: only Apple makes refunds - request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. You can also send your statement to us; we will help, but we cannot refund a payment Apple took.
If the store refuses a refund and you believe you are entitled to one, write to us and we will look into it.
5. The free trial
The free 7-day trial is not a purchase: you pay nothing and nothing renews. There is nothing to withdraw from - it simply ends.
6. Withdrawing versus cancelling a subscription
Withdrawing means backing out of the whole contract within 14 days, with your money back. Cancelling a subscription (possible at any time) only means it will not renew - Plus works until the end of the period you paid for, with no refund for that period. How to cancel a subscription is in the Terms of Service, section 8.
7. Model withdrawal form
